Who Is Dylan Negri?

About

Dylan Negri's highly experimental photographs create feelings of wonder and awe. His work explores the convergence of manmade and natural image making techniques. He explores a wide variety of different photographic techniques within his work taking inspiration from a wide variety of photographers and other artists including Adam Fuss, Duane Michals, Marian Drew, Olga Karlovac, Danny Bittencourt and others. The sources of inspiration are spread far and wide and are forever expanding.

Skills

Dylan Negri has lived and worked in Melbourne Australia since 2006. He has participated in multiple solo and group exhibitions throughout his career and has explored a variety of different topics and experimental forms of photography including a combination of long exposure, double exposure and forms of kinetic/non-kinetic light painting to achieve abstract photos that evoke interest from his viewers, layering photographs with ice, water droplets, rips and tears and dirt to create photos with a feeling of depth and meaning.

2023. Studied Diploma in photography at NCAT (Northern College Of Arts And Technology).

2022. Studied cert IV in photography at NCAT (Northern College Of Arts And Technology).

2019-2021. Studied studio arts and photography at Saint Helena Secondary College.
